What goes live on 5 November

Trekkers deserve better than a PDF guide and a group chat

Every trekker with a date is living the same fragmented reality. The operator's PDF fitness guide that never updates. A watch nobody reads. Screenshots pasted into ChatGPT. YouTube workouts. A group chat with conflicting advice. None of it talks to each other, none of it knows your departure date or your stages, and none of it adapts when life happens. On 5 November, one engine does.

Quick answers

When does trekking go live?

5 November 2026. Trek pages with stage-by-stage profiles, Trek Check (the free readiness report for your trek) and trek plans in the app. The waiting list gets the first email.

Which treks are covered at launch?

Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, the Inca Trail, the Tour du Mont Blanc and the Annapurna Circuit, plus Toubkal and Mt Kenya, which are already on the mountaineering side. Your own trek can be entered by its hardest day.

What makes a trek plan different from a hiking plan?

A trek is four to eleven walking days in a row with a pack and a hardest day inside it. The plan trains consecutive days, descent that arrives tired and the hardest stage, sized from the real itinerary, and recalculates every Sunday from your watch. Altitude is the one thing training cannot do; the itinerary handles that, and we say so.

Does joining the waiting list cost anything?

No. One email when trekking goes live, with 14 days free and no card needed. Nothing else unless you tick the newsletter box.

I am training for a peak, not a trek.

Then you want the mountaineering side, which is live today: use the switch in the header, or go to the mountaineering site.
